Excellence, Service, Community. Empowering Young Men for the Future.
De La Salle Catholic College Revesby Heights is a Catholic secondary systemic boys’ college in the Archdiocese of Sydney. Founded by the De La Salle Brothers in 1960, the College embodies the charism and its traditions in honouring faithfully and actively the three pillars of the De La Salle Brothers - Faith, Service and Community.
The College provides a broad, comprehensive and inclusive curriculum underpinned by the pursuit of excellence and commitment to academic, spiritual, cultural, and sporting endeavours. It is our aim to develop students towards their utmost potential and be afforded the opportunity to grow spiritually, academically and personally.
We expect our students to:
- give their best in all that they do
- be actively involved in all that the College and the community offers
- keep a place for God in their hearts
The College is committed to engaging parents in active and participatory partnerships with a view to preparing their sons for life after school. These partnerships help to sustain a strong and unified College community designed to empower young men for the future.
Research informs us that boys learn differently and have different interests to girls. As such, our curriculum and teaching practice is directed towards the different learning styles and interests of boys.
Teachers at De La Salle Catholic College Revesby Heights have also made a deliberate choice to teach boys. They are high quality professionals as reflected in the outstanding results in NAPLAN and the Higher School Certificate. The professional development of staff in boys’ education pedagogy is a priority of the College.
