Student Wellbeing

Student Wellbeing

The wellbeing of all students is at the heart of Catholic Education. At De La Salle College Revesby Heights, we strive to create a learning environment which provides for the spiritual, physical, emotional, cognitive and social growth of students.

We provide a strong system of pastoral care with clear expectations of both staff and students, the basis of which is the philosophy of restorative justice, which emphasises establishing and maintaining strong, positive relationships.

Student wellbeing at the College helps every student build a community based on respect, belonging and acceptance and includes:

  • A formal Pastoral Care Program with a variety of topics tailored to each year group
  • An Anti- Bullying Program including regular student surveys and whole school campaigns
  • Customised student wellbeing programs and small group workshops
  • A College Counsellor
  • A strong focus on student leadership

Parent support and involvement is vital for student engagement and success and we strive to work in close partnership with parents to ensure the best possible outcome for every student.
